The Blown Away team consists of a group of vibrant stylists, each with their own personality and touch.

Dani is the director and driving force behind Blown Away Makeup & Hair. Founded in March 2010, Dani worked in salon during the week and dedicated her weekends to specialising in makeup and hair styling. With 20 years in the industry and a string of nominations and awards to date, special occasion work and travelling around NSW to accommodate the upcoming Bride-to-be’s sure is a real pleasure.

In her ‘spare time’ she is a TAFE Educator, Wife and mother.

Then of course, there’s the TEAM! Alana, Sofia & Elyse and then a few of our ring in’s when we’re flat stick. The girls have an extensive amount of experience and qualifications and I wouldn’t be where I am today without them! We pride ourselves in punctuality and professionalism so rest assured you’re in good hands for your next upcoming event with any of our team!

Had the privilege of having Dani do my hair and makeup as mother of the bride and mother of the groom as well was done and cannot recommend her highly enough. Not only did Dani work absolute magic on us she was such a beautiful and kind human to deal with.

I had Alana look after my makeup and Elyse look after my hair for myself, bridesmaids and mother for my wedding. The girls did an amazing job and I was so happy with the result! It was quite a windy day and once I got into the reception, you couldn’t tell I had been out in the wind for the last few hours, my curls stayed put! My makeup held for the whole day even after all the dancing. Alana and Elyse were also super professional and lovely to talk to. I would definitely recommend them to look after me again!

My makeup was still flawless come 3am the following morning and my hair which is dead straight and curls never hold, is still curly 2 days later!! Pricing

Price Guide for 2023/2024 for all Special Occasion Hair and Makeup (including Bridal Parties)

Hair & Makeup

(Monday – Saturday)

  • $250pp (up or down style)
  • $180pp Blowdry and Makeup
  • $180pp Ages 11-15
  • $70pp Ages 3-10
  • Sundays have a minimum of $300 per booking.

Trials

Trials are completely up to each individual. They are done at our location (Camden region) and are $220pp for both Hair and Makeup. If you only require one service (hair only or makeup only) it’s $120pp. Trials are generally done on Saturdays around our wedding bookings so please be flexible with time. Trials are NOT done on Sundays unless we already have another job on as minimum numbers apply for Sundays.

Travel

We travel the first 20km (both ways) free from stylists starting point. (Macarthur region) A fee will occur after the 20kms. We travel state wide (NSW) Please fill in the contact form for an exact quote.

Hair Only

  • $130pp (up or down style)
  • $80pp (blowdry only)
  • $100pp 11-15 years (up or down style)
  • $60pp 3-10 years (up or down style)

Deposits & Cancellations

  • A deposit is required to secure your quote and event date.
  • Deposits are subtracted from the final total.
  • Deposits are NOT refundable.
  • Cancellations made at any time will result in a forfeit of your deposit.

Terms & Conditions

  • Prices are subject to change
  • We do not charge extra for lashes, price is inclusive
  • If a 2nd Hairstylist or MUA (assistant) is required, a fee will incur.
  • Hair Extensions (clip ins) incur a $15 surcharge to be applied on the day
  • Early start fees apply for any time that requires a stylist to leave their home earlier than 5:30am.
  • Accommodation may be required for destination weddings, pending on location or time needed to be started.
  • All payments for services must be made NO later than the day of event.
  • Please have space for 1-2 cars for us to park as we carry large suitcases / bags. If you’re getting ready at a hotel, parking MUST be supplied for us at your expense.
  • Long weekends and public holidays incur a 5-10% surcharge.
  • If your numbers booked decrease within 1 month of your event you will forfeit 50% of their service fee as we have allowed time, staff availability and May have potentially turned away other jobs in that time slot.
